Sharp isn’t exactly known for turning the notebook industry on its head, but their latest machine will have you doing a double take. Instead of a standard trackpad the Mebius PC-NJ70A netbook features a 4-inch 854×480 LCD screen that doubles as a trackpad. I’d expect its functionality to be a bit limited since it’s probably not easy to get it to play nicely with the OS. Other features for the netbook are pretty standard issue: 1.6Ghz Intel Atom n270 processor, 160GB hard drive, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3x USB ports, media card reader, 1GB of RAM and 10.1-inch LCD. Expect the Mebius PC-NJ70A netbook to hit Japan (only) sometime soon for about $800. Video below.
